"Dina Boyer’s passion for Holistic Health came of great help to me in December 2007 when we met at a raw foods talk in Westlake. Curious about what it was she did for people, I sign-up up for her 6-month program at Anew by Dina and my life changed.
I had always intrigued by natural health and had done some research on my own so what she brought was a new perspective, tons of reference materials (she has quite the lending library), but her coaching was invaluable. During my sessions with Dina I went down two dress sizes and my complexion which had previously been sensitive and blotchy completely cleared up. I have to credit the natural foods and tons of water implemented in my life, among the many other things, to my newfound health. Being healthy or trying to be healthy doesn’t have to be hard. "I really don’t know where to begin explaining how working with Dina and Anew Wellness is changing my life. I’ve always hated vegetables, and have struggled to drink enough water. Dina’s credentials for teaching well being of body, mind and spirit are not only impeccable but her passion is also evident to all who meet her and especially witnessed by her clients. I consider my five months thus far with Dina to be one of the best investments in my life. I have changed for the better and I had to or else. All other attempts had failed.
I was not a vegetable/grains eater, great water drinker, exerciser or healthy cook. I was an unscheduled, hopeless, overweight stick in the mud. Dina is great! When I came
to her, I was very depressed and hopeless.
She listened to myconcerns every time we met and we tried whatever we
thought would work. I have acne at 28 years of age and I have been to every type of doctor and tried almost every treatment there is for acne. I always thought that something I was eating was affecting my skin along with my hormones. "The cooking class was much more than just how to cook a healthy meal. You offered so many helpful tips, things that are common sense to you- but not to most people. I was impressed with just how good the food tasted. I’m someone who really enjoys cooking and I want my children to have healthy eating habits and I understand that they are going to learn by example. You cleared up some of the misconceptions about “low-fat” foods and really made it simple to think about what kind of foods are truly healthy. "I have been to two of Dina's cooking classes, I was hooked after the first one. It is one thing to see a recipe that calls for quinoa, (keen-wah), and some other really wonderful ingredients, then to "taste" it is believing. After the first class, the very next day I went shopping with my new recipes from Dina...been cooking ever since, never felt better! The second class, she motivated me even more, who would have thought that Brussels sprouts could ever taste so good! Garbanzo bean brownies, are to die for! Made them several times(hiding the ingredients) and my kids devour them. Dina is brilliant, it's no wonder she does what she does. She knows so much about the nutrients in food, not only is it a tasting experience, it's a learning experience. I never knew quinoa while a grain, it is a complete protein! Don't get me started on kale, so many ways to cook it, let alone the list a mile long as to how good it is for you inside and out. "I would recommend this cleanse to anyone. I was having bloating after eating and also fatigue. During my cleanse and ever since I have really noticed a big difference. My bloating went away as did my fatigue. I had been wondering for awhile why I was no longer craving fruit and why it didn't taste as good to me as it once had. During the cleanse I found out why. I was eating so much sugar that the fruit no longer tasted as good to me. Once I cut sugar out of my diet I really started to enjoy fruit again!
