The sessions are geared towards nutrition and lifestyle changes to help prevent, manage and control weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, inflammation, stress management and lack of physical activity.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM:

 

 

An Initial health assessment

This assessment will offer us an overview of each employee's nutrition, lifestyle habits, unique health concerns and goals.

We will also define any obstacles that the employee has that are holding him or her back and formulate a strategic plan of change that they would focus on during the program for best results.

 

A series of sessions

During these sessions we offer education, coaching and continued support on nutrition and lifestyle changes to help prevent, manage and control weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, inflammation, stress and lack of physical activity.

The programs can be administered on-site, or via tele-classes/webinars and are 8-16 weeks long or can span the duration of 6 months to a year for continued support and commitment to the employees.

 

Tele-classes/ Webinars

Our group coaching program is offered in-person or over the phone, for your convenience. Both are very popular and effective.

Tele-classes are live, interactive classes, which are conducted over the phone and/or webcast. They eliminate geographical limitations, cost and travel time, which makes them ideal for busy professionals and for multi-location companies.

Sessions are also recorded and can be downloaded and accessed by employees at any time of the day and from any location.


Personalized binders

A wide variety of helpful resources are provided to you, from a list of superfoods, to toxic ingredients to stay away from in food, to shopping lists and recipes.

Session handouts, articles and weekly assignments. self assessments, recipes, meals plans and other resourceful handouts are also proviced. We do the best we can to provide you with all the appropriate tools that you need to help you on your journey to wellness.

 

 

On-line Forum

This forum serves as a virtual "classroom", where employees can learn, share, interact and get support from each other, thus developing teamwork, creating camaraderie and building an overall positive morale within the corporation. Employees are assigned their own password via which they can access the forum.

Here employees can:

  • Download thier audios and powerpoint presentations.
  • Download their handouts, recipes and all the  rest of the resources.
  • Submit their questions and ask for support.
  • Connect with their private on-line community for braistorming ideas, troubleshooting obstacles or motivation.
  • Get personalized attention and coaching from us.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

One-on-one coaching sessions are also available to provide further hands on and individualized support to employees.

  • Sessions are scheduled in 30 min segments within ½ day or full day blocks and employees will register in advance to book their time slot.
  • Sessions take place either on-site, or via teleconferencing. We provide the same service as in our group programs, but the sessions and support is more personalized for each individual employees.
  • This is a wonderful service for some of the high risk employees that might have scored high on their health risk assessment forms.

I have been to two of Dina's cooking classes, I was hooked after the first one...  After the first class, the very next day I went shopping with my new recipes from Dina...been cooking ever since, never felt better!  The second class,  she motivated me even more, who would have thought that Brussels sprouts could ever taste so good! Dina is brilliant, it's no wonder she does what she does.  She knows so much about the nutrients in food, not only is it a tasting experience, it's a learning experience...
